Some of my favorite resources for parenting tips and tips/strategies for preserving peace in the home:

Connection Codes there is a book but we took the courses and it was a phenomenally simple tool for connecting with humans.

​

Parenting with Love & Logic A classic parenting book with tons of strategies for bringing more peace into parenting!
 

Loving Our Kids on Purpose (basically Love & Logic with a Christian perspective) there is an audible version for us busy moms too! 
 

Raising Giant Killers my current reading or I should say audio book material as of the beginning of this blog and I'm loving it! 

​

On Becoming Baby Wise a great resource for new parents on how to get that sleep schedule! Sleep is huge for health!

​

The Tech-Wise Family this is a great book with research and practical family tips on the role of technology in the home and family environment it's a great short read with lots of graphs!

​

Dr. Caroline Leaf's Work she has so much science on the brain and how you can retrain pathways and what we put in it effects us.

​

Pain Free Birth by Karen Welton for everything pregnancy, birth and postpartum education, prep and help.

​

Ingredient Research

Some of my favorite got to resources for defending the health of my family or researching ingredients!

​

Banished Ingredient List I like to reference this list when looking to buy a personal care product for myself or my family.

​

EWG.com this is a great place to start and look up information and ingredients and to look up products you have already. They have an app too and a food app as well!

​

The "Think Dirty" and "Clearya" apps are great for looking up items in your home to see how well they score for ingredients. 

​

Breast Cancer Prevention Partners I love their tag line of "exposing the cause" is the cure.

​

Foodbabe for food ingredients her site has some great articles.

​

Health Helps

Essential Oil Reference Book I have this in my home and it comes in handy when I'm looking up what oils would be good for something.

​

Essential Oils 101 learn what essential oils are are, how to use them, some great do it yourself recipes for including oils in your life and some cooking recipes too.

​

Lead Safe Mama if you want to learn about lead hiding in our household items this is a great site to look at.


Earthley this is a great site that has some easy short guides on a lot of health options and support you can do at home with herbs

​

Miller's Review of Critical Vaccine Studies: 400 Important Scientific Papers Summarized for Parents and Researchers

​

Your Body in Balance is a great book about hormones and health.

​

Food Helps

Some great resources as you look into nutrition and food.

​

Plant Based Recipes & Meal Options this is a great cook book for those looking to work more fiber full meals into their diet through the power of plants.

​

How Not To Die this is a great book about reversing chronic diseases through lifestyle changes and food choices and addresses a lot of misconceived information.

​

Nutritionfacts.orc this website is  a favorite it is a non-profit so it's not in anyone's pocket and research based there's tons of short videos where they review information from scientific journals and the latest research in an understandable form. 

​

Nutrition & Physical Degeneration this book has some fascinating studies on our bodies and nutrition.

Nourishing Traditions another great cook book based on the principles in Nutrition & Physical Degeneration book and research.
